PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of supplier relationships, contracts, and specific orders for the procurement of all supplies for the administrative and manufacturing operations and to act as a mentor to a young team of buyers.

Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for all the cost accounting related activities of the company.
This hands-on role will be responsible for the integrity of the company’s costing systems and the associated financial information.

Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, budget management and departmental financing and ensure company accounting procedures conform to accepted accounting principles. Includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results. Direct, prepare, and analyze financial information for both internal management and external reporting purposes, such as financial statements, account reconciliations, and forecasts.

This position is responsible for developing and executing the global supply chain strategy for assigned commodities and geographic locations. This position is accountable for managing supplier performance, qualifying new suppliers, negotiating price, and ensuring suppliers meet our quality and inventory goals. This position is also responsible in providing support to internal customers (manufacturing, engineering, marketing, customer service, and others) on day-to-day issues as well as new product development initiatives.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for operational excellence in support of world-class service delivery. Primary responsibilities include initial plant set up, resource alignment, order fulfillment, and coordinating support with the appropriate teams at the Californian headquarters.
THOUSAND OAKS, CA
To oversee and perform receiving, in-process and final inspections of the QMS. Ability to verify manufacturing processes for conformance and product specifications in relation to all ISO 9001, FDA, USDA and associated regulatory standards. Improving the inspection systems using SPC, control charts and data collection for analysis. Implement and suggest continuous improvement ideas throughout the entire QMS to the quality manager.
SUMMARY: Develop manufacturing process and production methods; provide production support to enable manufacture of high quality engineered products. Work concurrently with Manufacturing/Engineering Development Manager through new product development and cost savings projects. Introduce and maintain state of the art processes and equipment into the workplace by implementing lean manufacturing concept
